Conquest of the Planet of the Hot Links

Kinda disturbing image above from here.  It wasn’t disturbing at all in 1968, when french-kissing ape-girls for luck was a universally accepted practice.  (I did it, too, but only with the older ape-girls.)

THIS is absolutely the worst version of Flatt & Scrugg’s “Foggy Mountain Breakdown” I’ve ever heard.  [Found at Strider's Journal.]

Bunk he likes flash game this.  Miss Cellanea from.

This is just fascinating and odd.  Link found at Miss Cellanea also.

Tacky Raccoons translated into Romanian??

“Where Is Bob?” is a bizarre story of a psychotic IT manager.  Read it in sequence from the first post.  [Linked from Mental Floss.]

    “…and how did that feel?”
    “Good!”

I never type LMAO, but I’m tempted to after watching that video, Tony.

I laugh myself to tears every time I watch it

Oh, sweet Jesus! Are we certain that wasn’t the Foggy Martian Breakdown?

I used to have a buddy whose father was a Muzak distributor, and I know they didn’t have anything that bad.

    HEY! I WARNED YOU!
There’s another bizarre CD floating around called “GrooveGrass.” It takes samples of old country songs (including Minnie Pear!?) and remixes them with a funky bass line. The funk bass is provided by none other than BOOTSY COLLINS. I can’t make up stuff like that. It’s too late tonight to find my treasured copy, but maybe I’ll figger out how to upload a song later this weekend.

I have that CD … it’s great! IIRC, it’s actually called The GrooveGrass Boyz, but it’s been a while. And, while they did sample Minnie Pearl, it’s my understanding that they were actually playing with Doc Watson on at least one cut.
