
That’s smoke from the Corona, CA fire as viewed from my neighborhood about 1:30PM today. We’re about 28 miles SW, but the sky is orange from all the smoke. People are stopping to take pictures. Hot Santa Ana winds are blowing.

Kit–
No threat here, although I had to turn on the kitchen lights earlier as the sun was getting blotted out. The winds have died down, and the sun, a bit orange, is back out. The folks in Yorba Linda, Corona and Anaheim Hills are the ones getting hit.

Holy crap! Is the air breathable? If I saw that out my window I’d be eying up my aunt’s oxygen tanks for sure.

Can’t hardly smell it from where we are. October of 2007 was different as we were directly downwind. Left the kitchen door open a crack overnight and found ashes on the kitchen table next morning. We’re in good shape here. BTW… You’re worried about air? I saw what you posted! =)
