Don’t read too much into this Freudian trainwreck. Been busy this week. (And yeah, that’s really what your mouth looks like when you go “phttttttp.”)
BUNK’S TRIVIA CORNER: “Click-Clack” was recorded by Dickie Doo and the Dont’s. Although it sucked donkeys big time, it was their biggest hit, went to #28 in 1958. They had a minor hit (more recently covered by Bad Manners) “NeNeNaNaNaNaNuNu.”
I think Dickie Doo, aka Gerry Granahan, got arrested for threatening to blow up a bank in Southern California in the 1970′s. The Brooklyn band was named after Dick Clark’s son’s nickname. Really.

I guess Dickie Doo’s solo career didn’t really take off.

John M– Actually, Dicky Doo did have a minor solo hit after he left “the Don’ts” and had some success with other ventures. Looky here.
nursem– Cool Slo Mo Waves. The time lag between the hit and his involuntary head-jerk reaction is interesting. Has nothing to do with the water.
daisyfae– Yeah. Go for it…
