Otherwise you could print it yourself on bond and have them laminate it. It’s not a copyright violation any more than ripping a cd into your music files.

I haven’t built either of them; I’ve been thinking about scanning each page in and printing a copy, just so that I can build them and keep the books. I’m not sure how I’d print on heavy cardstock, though.

I’ve also got a couple of papercraft projects I downloaded: a model of the ship from Firefly, and a model of a snowy owl (Hedwig), available from Canon.
