Everywhere is freaks and hairies, dykes and fairies. Tell me where is sanity? Tax the rich, feed the poor, ’til there aren’t no rich no more. I’d love to change the world, but I don’t know what to do. – Alvin Lee
Yep, they’re changing the world all right, one failed beat at a time. Truth is, the guy’s got no rhythm – he’s a beat off – and if that were a real Benjamin in his pocket he’d be chasing after the dork who lifted it. Capitalism!

It’s funny how the news loves to show the weirdos at protests:
I’m sure you can see the same people cheering at football games, voting, and doing charity work. It’s just not news then.
note: he does need some duct tape … and some eyedrops.

plane– As for the Wall Street protest, they’re all weirdos, with or without the uniform. Just listen to the interviews with the organizers.

This is a pretty good (NSFW) analysis of the kind of thing the protesters are protesting about. http://www.thereformedbroker.com/2011/10/09/this-is-why-they-hate-you-and-want-you-to-die

Mark–
That howl is probably an accurate description of the Occupy gangs’ mindset, but the animosity is misdirected.
What rights does the Federal Government (or the OWS boobs) have that allow them to dictate what a private enterprise is allowed to pay its employees? Its CEOs? You might not like Bank of America, but no one’s forced to play their game as there are many free market alternatives.
Say you owned a company that made $X. If you pay yourself $X, the company would go bankrupt. So what – that’s your choice. Assuming your business is legal, is it anyone’s business to tell you how to run your company or how much to pay your CEOs?
When the feds got into the mortgage business (that they had no business getting into in the first place) they forced the market to respond. Freddie Mae and Fannie Mac should be abolished, and Dodd-Frank should be repealed as it was the root cause of the current mess, and not the lending industry.
When a government allows private ownership of a business, yet dictates how that business is to be run, it’s called Fascism.

I don’t even believe half of these protesters know what the hell they’re protesting about. Do they have some kind of a plan mapped out? What are they looking for? Policies, that if put in place would take all this ‘money’ away from these rich folk they hate so much and put it where they think it rightfully belongs which is supposedly in their back pockets? That’s not how capitalism works. That’s not how our country became the greatest country on earth.
How would their plan work anyway? Sounds Marxist to me. Redistribution of wealth. Obama’s mantra of being fair. What’s fair? That in a country where everyone has the opportunity to better themselves that those who have done so now have to be guilted into turning around and taking what is rightfully theirs and sharing it because it’s not fair if they don’t. Screw that.
I’m middle class and I am not jealous because someone might be richer than I am. I say Kudos and I want to work all the harder to get where they are not sit on my ass, protest and say give me some.

foxylady– Spot on. There’s no question that neoMarxists are involved, not to mention the SEIU and the CPUSA. What’s more disturbing to me is that Obama and the democrats are not condemning them publicly, and some are shamelessly supporting them. I suspect it will only get worse between now and the 2012 election.
