Something got me about the music, and I think I know what it was: imperfection with heart. I hope the old guy’s still around.
I read your post about your “Barbados Sunday” and had to look up shak-shak and mauby. I see why you liked the song, and you’re welcome. 😀

Lol. It does have that sort of underlying ‘scratchy’ feel of the wind in the shak-shak tree, but truly his music was soothing. Like you say he plays with “heart” and the tune carries you..
