I’ve been to NOLA twice during the Mardi Gras season, a few weeks prior to the Tuesday clusterfook, and had a blast both times. Watching people fight over a little plastic coin was entertaining. New Orleans has always a bit seedy, but the place has gotten a lot worse over the years, and that’s a shame.

I don’t go to the real Mardi Gras parades in Mobile,I surely ain’t going to the dumpster that is New Orleans.
