Ah, Vonnegut. My all time favorite author. Now you have me thinking about Valerie Perrine playing Montana Wildhack in the film version of “Slaughterhouse 5″………

KV’s writing was entertaining for sure, and Slaughterhouse 5 is the one I remember most.
When I got to college I read the words “We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold,” and was hooked on HST.
