Air Swimmers
“Jaws” in 60 seconds. Duh du duh du duh du…
The Sonics were definitely proto punk. “Psycho” from 1965.
Petty Booka featuring Petty and Booka. Nice harmonies with ukes.
Here’s The Grateful Dead’s version of Sam Cooke‘s “Let The Good Times Roll.”
End of summer back to school kinda music. Have a great Labor Day Weekend, folks, and be back tomorrow for more fun.

rain– I got a message in my POUTINE box. I don’t know if it’s legit or if it’s spam. It reads, “I think you should use more images on your blog, but besides that, it is really great. Cheers.”

I missed out on seeing Petty Booka a few years ago when they appeared locally; I didn’t find out about it until after their show. I listened to a couple of tracks from one of their CD and decided I hadn’t missed much, but this sounded a lot nicer, and makes me sorry I missed them.

wheels– I like some of their stuff, but mainly because they’re unusual. Nice vocals.
