Kitty– Nancy was just bizarre. It was never funny, but it was odd. As for Snuffy Smith, I remember sitting on my dad’s lap reading the Sunday Funnies (after the ink had dried) and insisting on reading it aloud: “Revenooers!” I’m old enough to remember when there was a contest to name Snuffy’s and Loweezy’s son. The winning entry was “Tater.”
