Oh My Angel, Bertha Tillman (1962)R&B singer Bertha Tillman was born in Texas, but moved to San Diego where her career started. She only recorded a few singles, including her cover of the oldies staple “Oh My Angel” and a song called “I Wish” (released as Bertha Tillman & The Killers), both appearing on Bob Shad‘s New York label Brent Records. She died in San Diego on May 31, 1993, at the age of 50.”
