wanderin – Heard a story yesterday about a woman who had some serious gastro-intestinal problems, was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, and no remedy helped. Eventually surgeons found and removed some pieces of plastic from her bowels. “Heinz” was imprinted on them. She’d swallowed a couple of packets of ketchup. TRUE.

Yeah, I saw the article about the ketchup packets too. A dog eating something that it shouldn’t, I can understand. Human eating disorders are something else entirely. Other than psychological issues, I cannot understand what’s to gain from swallowing a whole ketchup packet, much more several of them. Then again, people are strange…
