Por Uhklelelas nailed it, and that’s the prettiest version of the song I ever heard. Unfortunately I can’t find a link to their website. On the other hand I can link to this:
Bill Tapia, aka,The Duke of the Uke, calls the chords. Huell Howser interviewed him.
Have a great weekend, folks. See you back here tomorrow whether you like it or not.

As I recall, this was one of Frank Zappa’s few commercial
successes. Most of his songs were just too weird for most
radio stations to air. I have about 65 of his albums on CD
but never got around to completing the collection.

Zappa got very little radio airplay. Although I knew of The Mothers, I’d never heard him until “Don’t Eat The Yellow Snow.,” and I bought Apostrophe (‘) . That’s when I got hooked. Later I bough Sheik Yerbuti, Joe’s Garage and Zoot Allures and others. His lyrics were often sophomoric, but his bands were tight and he nailed a lot of music genres, especially R&B.
Zappa’s “Peaches En Regalia” is in the top ten of my all-time favorites, (though some versions are better than others).
