I’d forgotten about it until Innocent Bystanders reminded me. There are other similar vids out there of non-english speakers speaking gibberish with convincing American accents.

Sid Caesar could do fluent gibberish that sounded like various non-English languages. He was a guest once on “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?” a number of years ago, and did several languages worth, but I’ve been unable to find a clip of it online.
