As a Pittsburgh native I can confirm the accuracy of the Pittsburghese translator, except it is missing a vowel shift that I didn’t even realize we had until I was in my 40s: “pull” and “full” are pronounced “pool” and “fool”. Yinz are great!

Chipper– I had a yinzer roommate in college who gave me lessons. I don’t remember much of it but I know that the name Dion is pronounced “Dee-in”, and that “yah” can be the first word of any sentence.
