  1. Lovely musical links this morning, just lovely.
    I saw J. Geils at Tornado Alley, a small bar in Maryland, with about 100 other people in the late 80s. They destroyed that place. One highlight among many was an extended version of Pontiac Blues.

      We saw them on stage twice in the mid-seventies, I think it was the Blow Your Face Out tour, and I can only imagine what they could do in a smaller setting. I didn’t realize at the time that a lot of my JGB favorites were covers. (For example, listen to James Cotton’s The Creeper. 😀 )
