A true chameleon of roots music, his discography includes blues, rock, R&B, reggae, jazz, country blues, Caribbean and West African styles. He was an early pioneer of what’s now called world music.

I use a Nope Rope™. If I look down the hole and hear nothing interesting within ten seconds, I pull it back up and move on.

Very nice, though ‘nope rope’ is what my niece calls snakes. Personally, I’m a fan of the creatures. Snakes, not nieces. Nieces must be considered on a case-by-case basis.
