Although there are two cats around here that Bunk denies ownership of, other members of the Family Strutts claim to know about catbreath. (Word is it’s nasty. I’ll stay with the possums… at least they don’t climb up on my lap, stare at my chin stubble, and say, “H-h-h-howdy.”)

Leave a caption in the comments section, and of the two three four we receive by midnight Sunday, we’ll pick the best one and do something with it. Honest.

UPDATE: There’s a real cool prize involved…

This kitten, Cornelius, was named after rapper M.C. Escher. It’s a well known fact that cats see in 10 dimensions simultaneously; this one is obviously focused on dimension 3.5, where the force of gravity is 90 degrees from the vertical.
(Oh yeah, it’s cute now. Just wait until that silent-running Prius comes around the corner and kitty becomes eco-art.)

I found this funny and somewhat disturbing at the same time. Hadda post it.
This feline is possessed… with Heterochromia. Two different colored eyes, the sign of a Bruja. Don’t mess with it.
In my case, though, soy un Brujo. Dangerous to mess with Bunk, also.
It’s so hot I saw a dog chasing a cat chasing a mouse, and they all were walking.
It’s so hot I saw two trees fighting over a dog.
It’s so hot that even Al Gore can’t explain it.
It’s so hot that the people who live in Thermal California are laughing at you.
Okay. It’s Hot. Get over it. Like these Cat Wannabes.
Meanwhile, here’s the Real Deal.
They’re not whining… just waiting.
