Face transplants were created in …..France?

Dunno, but I’m pretty sure the first faceplant was by some caveman named Jeff.

Haha. V.good.
I checked though and: “The world’s first partial face transplant took place in 2005 in France, and the first full-face transplant was completed in Spain in 2010. Only about 40 such surgeries have taken place, all in white patients prior to Chelsea.” From webmd. The first full face and both hands was done last year in N.Y.

The one I remember was Charla Nash. Lost her face and her hands after being attacked by a friend’s pet chimpanzee.
BTW, the quoted statement is wrong. Not all of the recipients of face transplants are/were white. I don’t know why that matters.

All up to that date. The first black was a bit later. It matters cause you are a stickler for “transparency”; if ya know it say it. X

Asians, middle easterners, sub-Saharan Africans are all white? Didn’t know that.
