Great, old tune. I always thought that the Electrons did the original since tyhat’s the only version that was played in our area as far as I remember. I’m glad that you posted the Original Spontanes cover and listed the original by the Radients. I like all three pretty much equaly. Thanks for all the tunes that you post…..

I don’t remember hearing the original, let alone the covers, must have been regional hits. Back then the radio stations weren’t as picky about what they played (except for country) and pretty much left it up to the deejays.
As for the tunes, I post whatever catches my earballs that’s not already been played to death. If I had a radio show I’d play nothing but B-Sides.

No idea. YOU posted it!
All I know is that when very young children draw, the most important thing in the picture is the biggest.

well, I did indeed, but my kinder artist did not explain, and you are right about size equaling importance in a child’s picture

Works when they draw people too. Little ones see the face as most important in the hierarchy; feet, arms, legs and hands are secondary. Body comes later. 😀

A good friend has roots in the Gastonia NC music scene and knows the Spontanes; he was touched by the post and reunion video. Thanks.

News like that make it all worthwhile.
I understand the Spontanes lost some members not long ago. Condolences.
