Some White People Are Just Embarassing

Douchebag

Something tells me that his chances of procreating are about nil (this Centaur is obviously a gelding). Anyone have a video of him “prancing?” Thanks to Mr. Horsey, we’ve added a  new category for “Moronic White People.” He’s the first, and prolly not the last, entrant.

Before you go any further, check out Pandora Radio, search for Louis Armstrong, click play, and then continue. You’ll like it, especially on a Sunday morning with fried eggs sprinkled with garlic powder, sausage patties, and sourdough toast slathered with real butter.  That’s what I’m gonna do.  Makes the rest of the week just gravy.

081115-smoke-from-corona-fire

That’s smoke from the Corona, CA fire as viewed from my neighborhood about 1:30PM today.  We’re about 28 miles SW, but the sky is orange from all the smoke.  People are stopping to take pictures.  Hot Santa Ana winds are blowing.

Saturday Matinee: Hubba inna Jiggawah Rip It Up Pressure Cooker

1959’s “Shombolar” by Sheriff and the Ravels post dated The Chips’ “Rubber Biscuit” by a few years, but had some of the same Hubba inna Jiggawa phrases. Gotta love it. (Watch for the Dick Dale cameo.)

Bill Haley & the Comets’ “Rip it Up” (ripping off Little Richard’s original verision). Awesome jitterbuggin’… Lookee here for mo betta.

1957’s “Untamed Youth.” Scary stuff.

This one’s for Aussie Phil. Ready for some speed blues? Here’s “PRESSURE COOKER.” Clarence Gatemouth Brown was one of the most underrated bluesmen of the modern era.  He was one of those rare folks that if you told him a set of jumper cables was an instrument, he could play ’em.

There is an excellent publication, Military, that should be read by all. It’s not a glossy rewrite of history, but a monthly newsprint pulp, with first-person accounts from WWII, the Cold War, Korea, Viet Nam, Afganistan and Iraq. It contains snippets of world events, past and present, not normally found in the newspapers, let alone TV, Radio, or the internest news services.

Military provides current non-classified information that the popular main-stream media typically overlooks and ignores. Well worth the admission price of $21.00 a year.

Click on this link [www.milmag.com] to get to the subscription page. I have no monetary connections or financial interests with this publication, aside from being a fan and subscriber.

The publication is proudly conservative and I recommend it highly. Regardless of your political affiliation, it is not insulting to those of differing opinions. Go for it. —Bunk

This embarrasses me… Not for her, but that someone actually designed and built that P.O.S. backdrop, with the lime jello wave and the cauliflower/Pearl Harbor bombing sky, and took some of her retirement money for the photo.  Some people have no shame, and I wish I’d thought of it first. (Is that Corky Carroll’s mom?)
