Amazing and Disgusting

Although it’s been in my blog roll for years, it’s been a while since I ventured over to No Puedo Creer. “I Can’t Believe It” is a great website from Spain, and I’d use it to practice hobbling the spaniel with some of the commenters.

Without cheating, guess what those things are. You’re going to be amazed and disgusted at the same time, I guarantee it.

Hint 1: It’s a successful Japanese medical experiment.
Hint 2: Those are mouse embryos.

How To Smell Up Everything

Not sure how this works, but it apparently allows young Japanese girls to smell higher and make magic floating fusilli bucati lunghi at the same time. Or maybe it’s for personal hygiene: “C’mere, hon! Put this on. It’ll make you smell better.”

And then there’s that curious reset button that blows (heheh, nose pun) my theories away. Sneeze inducer? Nasal decongestant? Alternative lifestyle enhancement? This gaijin is clueless.

Practical Geometry


Steamboat McGoo found this excellent study illustrating the importance of understanding basic geometry. Although the explanation is in Japanese, it’s of critical importance that angle TQS is equal to angle AQE in order to cause the schoolboy’s jaw to drop.

There’s a pun in there somewhere about an extra riser, but I’m not gonna go there.
