Squirrel King?
Never heard of a “squirrel king” until now. It happens when squirrels get their tails entangled and can’t escape, leaving them vulnerable to predators and starvation. Pine sap was the culprit in the image above.
Is it a hoax? I dunno, Babs, but I do know this: there’s more about “squirrel kings” and related “kings” with photos and links here.
