Chicks Dig Guys Who Vote

This election is going to determine the fate of Our Nation. Are we going to emulate failed European-style socialism, or are we going to stand up, get bureaucracy out of the way and let the free-market engine of prosperity take us and the rest of the civilized world out of the doldrums that we’ve experienced for the past four years? In sailing terms, the US economy is in irons, and it shouldn’t have to be this way.

The very people who caused this geopolitical financial mess claim that people like me who oppose the economic self-destruction of this Great Country are racist homophobic women-haters, anti-science, knuckle-dragging drooling cavemen who want to destroy the environment and eat your babies in front of your God Denying Eyes. If you believe any of that crap you have no credible reason to vote.

By definition I’m a liberal. I want to change things. I want to elect officials who are fiscally conservative, morally sound, and who will protect our nation and allies from danger, both here and abroad, regardless of party affiliation. The Democrat Party offers none of that today, only lies, smears, cheap shots and half-truths. Throw the bastards out tomorrow.

America Truly Is The Greatest Country In The World.

Kitty Werthmann was born in Austria and witnessed the effects of Hitler’s policies first hand. The article below dates to at least 1996 -I found it in the July 2012 issue of Military. As we approach another Independence Day it seems entirely appropriate for recirculation, especially in this election year.

Commentors on the websites where the article appears generally consider it to be historically accurate, with the exception of her description of the Austrian election which was a contrived fraud. Others corroborate her story. Left-leaning blogs dismiss Werthmann due to her religion, her position on the 2nd Amendment, her age, and especially because she’s a popular speaker at TEA Party rallies. One website even described her article as pure propaganda.

Regardless of the criticisms, it’s a must-read, IMO. -Bunk

What I am about to tell you is something you’ve probably never heard or will ever read in history books. I believe that I am an eyewitness to history. I cannot tell you that Hitler took Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history. We elected him by a landslide – 98% of the vote. I’ve never read that in any American publications. Everyone thinks that Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.

Election Day In California

Sacramento has been out of control for years. Not too long ago, the State of California, were it a separate and independent country, would have ranked at No. 8 in prosperity world wide. Not so any more.

California is not completely lost… yet. Watch what happens in the regional and local elections. The results will tell you if California has a ghost of a chance of recovering from gross fiscal mismanagement and fascist socialism.

Red Bonemobile

After yesterday’s abhorrent fiscal atrocity that saddled our children and grandchildren with an unwarranted debt that they are going to be paying for for the rest of their lives, I can’t think of a better post than this to take my mind off of it for a day.

Here’s the car they’ll be able to afford. It runs on crap, 5 lbs. per mile.  The majority of the U.S. Congress is already a public crap mine, so the fuel should be plentiful for decades to come.
