A massive 6.8 magnitude earthquake in the Pacific Ocean near Santa Barbara, California, was reported by USGS on Twitter, 21 June 2017 – 92 years after it happened. Story here [via].

A massive 6.7 magnitude earthquake happened on Friday 14 July 2017 in San Diego. Nobody felt it, and a two-story structure suffered the only damage. Videos of previous tests here and here.

The “We Five” had this awesome hit in 1965, a cover of Ian & Sylvia‘s song “You Were On My Mind.”

Sylvia Fricker supposedly wrote it in a bathtub in Greenwich Village in 1962. Yeah it’s lip-synched, but it’s still fun as hell. One of these days I need to find out who the lead guitar on the left is because he rocks.

I don’t know if Congress actually took time for this stupidity, but it wouldn’t surprise me. Most of those wallet-leeches can’t handle 6-syllable words, and assume that we can’t either because we keep voting the losers back in.

Oh, yeah, and that’s me in the photo, and I missed posting this on the 12th. So what. Do I qualify for subsidies and reparations?
