1958 Cadillac Floater

Work by Cuban artist Esterio Segura. The retro sled must’ve been in pretty sad shape to do that to it. At least he could have painted it yellow.

Old news is new again. Fascists are accusing their opponents of being fascists, socialists are calling their opponents socialists. Antisemites are hollering that even the Jews hate the Jews. Climate Change is back to Global Warming and this time we’re emitting too many cows. If the POTUS says it’s bad to take Tylenol during pregnancy then you mamas-to-be better start gulping them down pronto if you want to score political points. Greta & crew are suffering toxic levels of 24/7 ABBA, and cotton is racist.

Oh, well. Have a great weekend, see you tomorrow, zero-porch-thirty.

Translated from Bulgarian via Google Translate:
“The largest miniature park is located in a picturesque place of Bakhchisaray in Crimea.
The area occupied by the park is 2.5 hectares, and the ‘Miniture Crimea’ includes 57 main architectural and historically important monuments. All objects are represented in a 1:25 scale. There is also a zoo on the territory of the park, see in the photos of ‘Reuters’ how the animals are having fun.”

Luchadores del Espacio (con Space Bimbos)

Sci-Fi pulp novels Sinister Void and Captives of Space by Joe Bennett (José Luis Benet Sanchís) with cover art by José Luis (José Luis Macías) circa 1958. Via Google Translate:

“Do you think it’s possible to remedy the chaotic situation in which the ‘vagaspaces’ of the uranium spaceship live?
Alone in the infinite Universe, surrounded by dangers and condemned to ‘brain death’, the anguish acquires a high degree of tension on each page. Science and futuristic fantasy. Situations that you will not be able to endure without being upset because SINISTER VOID is the title that all true lovers of fantasy literature were anxiously awaiting.”
