Max Mueller II, mayor of Idyllwild, California, is a real SOB and everyone knows it.

Mom ordered a t-shirt from China for her 3-year-old and it came with a surprise bonus feature.

And it’s all supposed to be spontaneous. Yeah, right.

Un-Aborted Pro-Abortion woman tries to make the argument:
Let’s eliminate suffering by killing those who MIGHT suffer.” Pheew. Even Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger was against abortion as a contraceptive (except for blacks). The entire premise is false.

Saturday Matinee – New York Subway A Capella, Russian Chicago Cover & Ice Weasels

Apologies for losing the original link. These guys are great.

These Russians do Chicago better than Chicago.

Then there’s this insanity. Ain’t no fear of thin ice.

Have a great weekend, folks. See you back here after the apocalypse.

Saturday Matinee – Steel Shredder, Egg Cracker, Android 207, Tom Waits & Pink Floyd

Not sure why, but this kind of stuff fascinates me.

Egg-breaking machine complete with egg-breaking porn soundtrack found here.

I ran across Paul Whittington‘s Android 207 a coupla years ago. Seems to fit.

Tom Waits‘ self-accompanied masterpiece “Clang Boom Steam” also seems appropriate.

From the Utoobage description: “The iconic video was created by Gerald Scarfe initially as a backdrop film for when the band [Pink Floyd] played the track on its 1977 In the Flesh tour.”
From the Utoobage comments: “Imagine having to wait 40 years to watch your favorite band’s official videoclip.”

Have a great weekend, folks, and don’t forget that astronomy is gonna happen tomorrow night.

1960 Pontiac Sled

This wide ride fit in very few parking spaces, and on the road the margin of error was slim. That’s why you see so few of them anymore. Looks like the snow pack is up to the railing at this resort, so the snowbunny on the left must be about 9-feet tall, too.

Retro Reflections

Not sure what make/model the car is, but the reflection is interesting. I messed with it a tad. It’s definitely not what I expected.

Sandy’s Can Cars

Many sources mis-attribute these sculptures to eccentric Australian Albert (Tapper) Torney, but they’re the work of New Zealander Sandy, who sells plans and displays finished models here.

His process is brilliant, meticulous and it’s pure awesome.
