No idea how this works, how to steer, how to brake, but it was touted as a safety bicycle for people unable to handle a penny farthing. I’m guessing that if you came to a quick stop, you’d be either thrown face-first onto the pavement, or you’d rock back and forth until your lunch suddenly appeared on your lap. Once you started pedaling, the same rocking thing would happen again with the same result, only messier.
I want one.
Not sure why, but this kind of stuff fascinates me.
Egg-breaking machine complete with egg-breaking porn soundtrack found here.
I ran across Paul Whittington‘s Android 207 a coupla years ago. Seems to fit.
Tom Waits‘ self-accompanied masterpiece “Clang Boom Steam” also seems appropriate.
From the Utoobage description: “The iconic video was created by Gerald Scarfe initially as a backdrop film for when the band [Pink Floyd] played the track on its 1977 In the Flesh tour.”
From the Utoobage comments: “Imagine having to wait 40 years to watch your favorite band’s official videoclip.”
Have a great weekend, folks, and don’t forget that astronomy is gonna happen tomorrow night.

I hate the Ice Cream Man because of this.
I dare you to watch this video all the way through.
In 1976, Dick Van Dyke hosted a Fonzie Lookalike Contest, and here are the two finalists. Their resemblance is amazing.

Fruit noises [via]. It’s what my insides sound like at 3AM after eating the good stuff at 6PM.
The Beat Farmers was one helluva fun bar band, and “Blue Chevrolet” was one of my favorite roadtrip songs. I don’t recobanize the lineup except for the Jerry Raney lookalike on vocals and rhythm guitar, and it appears to be a tribute concert at the Belly Up Tavern in 2013. The legendary Country Dick Montana passed away in 1995 while playing drums on “The Girl I Almost Married.”
Never heard Country Dick?
This one’s for you, and so is the next one.
Mongolian folk metal blues band The HU is badass killer. Nope. Not gonna mess with them at all [via].
Have a great weekend folks. See you back here after the earth rotates 360 degrees.
Thought I’d share, not as much for the comment, but for the video.
